C&S Complete!

Well, dear readers, we have a lot to catch up on. I do apologize for not having blogged in about a month, but I did say I wasn’t very good at this kind of thing.

I wish I could tell you that I was too busy to blog because I was working furiously on my books. However, that would not be entirely true.

I actually considered writing a blog post a few weeks ago about not writing. I was in a slump. It was strange because it wasn’t that I just wanted to be done with the story or that I didn’t know what was going to happen next (my usual problems) I just didn’t want to write.

So I decided to take off for a little bit. There were a lot of life things that wanted my attention and I felt I should focus on those instead. Well, as things tend to do, a few days on break turned into over a week before I’d written again.

Then I felt as if I was a rescued animal who shouldn’t be pushed to her limits as she eased back into the writing world. Very quickly I had a daily word count goal again.

Now, I have finished Clouds and Sandwiches, and I really like the ending. I think it’s rather cute. No, I did not reach my intended goal of 50,000 words, but I reached the end. So in my mind, I have finished it until I one day look back and wonder, “what in the world was I thinking? None of this makes sense!” and then start revising it into something much more beautiful.

Now, I may not be blogging as much in the near future because I will be starting school once again. This time I get to attack the animal of college. Yay! So I’m really not sure how much writing on here I’ll be able to do.

However, maybe one day I’ll discuss stress or the importance of friends. Who knows? But please, if you have anything you wish me to blog about, let me know in the comments. I would love to hear what my blog readers want to know about (because I’m sure you’d rather read that since you requested it).

Well, that’s another book down. Or rather, the first step of another book. I’m not sure when I’ll try to publish it but I currently do plan to publish it one day. My first goal is to publish the Elemental Kingdoms trilogy, though. Then I plan on branching out my brand.
